Carol Wintrode Maksimow, B.S., BC-HIS, ACA
Carol founded Hearing Aid Specialists of CT in 1995, serving thousands of people in the local neighborhoods of both Litchfield and New Haven Counties. She is a Certified Audioprosthologist, a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist, and is Board Certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences.
In her personal, on-going battle with fluctuating hearing loss, Carol understands firsthand the importance of personalized care and customized hearing aid programming. Understanding that each person’s hearing loss is unique, Carol is motivated to take the extra time to customize all hearing aid software for each patient.
This level of personalized patient care is what separates Carol’s practice from the rest—you’re not just paying for a hearing aid, you’re paying for performance and optimal hearing.
A graduate of Fairfield University, Ms. Maksimow was selected as the industry expert to assist Duracell in the development of their new “Easy Tab” battery and battery dispenser. She is known for her in-depth knowledge and expertise in advanced digital hearing instrument electronics.
Veralyn Davee, M.A., CCC-A
Veralyn is a certified and licensed Audiologist and CT licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist with over 30 years of clinical experience, having worked for 15 years in an Ear, Nose & Throat practice in Michigan, she has gained expertise in the area of high frequency hearing loss, noise exposure and ear protection due to her extensive experience with the automotive industry. She received her Masters from Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan.
Judy Dunnell, HIS
Judy is a CT state licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist and a certified Lyric provider. Lyric is the world’s first and only 100% invisible, 24/7 wearable, sweat-proof, shower-proof device that can be worn for months at a time.
